Ellen Glood will be sharing her interest in Norwegian literature and highlighting acclaimed authors and books she has read.  Join us for an engaging exploration of Norwegian literature.  Even if you are not an avid reader, you will enjoy the storytelling that Ellen will be sharing. Please bring a treat to share.  Guests are welcome.

Christine Leichtnam will be presenting a program on her Polar Bear Experience trip.  She has a fascinating  story and photographs to share.  Please bring treats to share.  Guests are welcome.

Come join us for our annual Syttende Mai Celebration.  Set-up will be at 5:30 p.m. with our potluck starting at 6:00 p.m.  Please bring a dish or dessert to share.  The lodge will be providing the meat.  Program:  Pam Evert will be speaking on Norway's cherished traditional dress, the bunad, and the art of making Norwegian bunads.  Learn about the intricate craftsmanship behind Norway's national costume, featuring delicate silver solje jewelry and detailed handwork.  This presentation will explore the cultural significance of bunads, from their regional variations to their important role in celebrations such as Norway's Constitution Day (May 17).  Guests are welcome.
