Lodge Christmas Party -"Traditions for a New Generation - Mind the Gap"  (Monthly Social)

Come and share the Christmas spirit with fellow Norwegians.  Kari Glood Kuipers has a special program involving "Traditions for a New Generation" that you will not want to miss.  It is important that we have all ages for this program as the program involves generations, so please invite your family and friends.  Guests are welcome.  
 
The lodge will be providing ice cream, with toppings, as well as krumkake for our treats. Coffee and lemonade will be provided.  Please RSVP number of people to info@borgundlodge.org asap so that we can get a count for purchasing the ice cream.

Zoom Literature Class - "A Frog in the Fjord"  (Culture Class)

We are offering a 3-week "Zoom" literature class where we will be reading "A Frog in the Fjord."  Can a foreigner find happiness in the world's happiest country?  Come find out by joining our upcoming literature class, which will be discussed by Zoom on Mondays in January (Jan. 5, 12, and 19 at 6:30 p.m.).  If interested, please register by emailing the lodge at info@borgundlodge.org by Wednesday, December 31, 2025.  There is no extra charge for the class, however, you will need to purchase your book prior to the first session.  Please read to page 102 (Winter and part of Spring section) prior to the first session. If you just want to listen in on our discussion, you are welcome to attend by Zoom, however, you will also need to register for this class so we have your email for the Zoom.  If you have not tried Zoom before, we can set up a test a few days prior to the class so you can become familiar with how to get on the Zoom. Just let us know.
